Pink & White Shaped Card

Place Grand Labels Twenty-Three (5½ x 4⅜") slightly above fold

As most of you know I have absolutely no talent in using stamps or trying my hand at coloring anything. But I do like to try different techniques to create cards.  I have found that to make any shaped card all you have to do is fold the cardstock in half, crease the edge and place the shaped die slightly above the fold.  It gives you a  hinged top and a fun shape die cut that is still attached at the top of card.

Die cut and emboss the pink Labels Twenty-Three and attach to white one, then die cut smaller white Labels Twenty-Three and glue in place.  Add the pink Madera corner, flowers and glittery butterfly to complete the card.

Materials:
Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Grand Labels Twenty-Three (5½ x 4⅜" White cardstock) & (4⅞ x 3⅞" Pink cardstock)
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty-Three( 3⅜ x 4¼" White cardstock)
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Enchanted Embossing Folder
Memorybox Madera Corner & Fabulous Phlox
Martha Stewart Doublepunch Monarch Butterfly Punch
Glitter, glue, cutting mat, bone folder

  12. I love this die and the shape of the card and recently used it. I also learned a secret: cut out an extra single sheet of the diecut and glue (tape or whatever) it to the front of your card...that way you never see the fold and then the shape of your card is the entire shape of the die; not flat on the top. :) Hugs, Gail
