Forest Evening

Greetings Everyone, I am blown away by getting all  the new followers a special thanks to all of you and those that are kind enough to leave a comment, it is always fun to read them. I am very honored to have so many of you reading from all over the world.

On a side note I am replacing the carpet in two rooms and having a wood floor installed.  Well the company quoted me a price to remove the carpet, pad and tack strip.  I thought oh heck I could do this myself.  WHAT WAS I THINKING.  It took me two days, I can hardly move from being so sore and stiff and I never realized how heavy carpet is . Never again, I have learned my lesson.

Today's card is made to look like a dusky evening in the forest.  I just made all the characters in black card stock and attached to a white card stock card.  I thought this would be a fun masculine card design.

Materials:
Memory Box Grand Oak Tree, Deer Trio, Puffy Clouds & Gold Finch
Poppy Stamps Fuzzy Bunny
Martha Stewart grass punch

  5. Hi Diane, re the carpets, that's the sort of thing I'd do and then regret it later. We never learn!
Loving your silhouette card, it looks very effective the black against the white. Very subtle and classy.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you have planned, happy crafting,
    hugs Erika.

  17. What a lovely card. Useful for so many occasions but as you say can be used for a male card - so difficult to do at times.

But I also absolutely LOVE your cards with the trees and the flowers, they´re all sooo beautiful and just put a big smile on my face, as they remind me of spring and hopefully some more sun soon.
