Down The Chimney

Hello to my newest followers and everyone that has time to stop for a visit. Thank you all for the lovely comments I really enjoy reading them, and visiting my Pinterest page.

I first made a template from the Puffy Cloud Border and then sponged a light blue ink for the background.  Basically when it comes to using inks that's the only skill I have.  For the Santa I die cut once in flesh card stock, then for the coat once in red card stock and then in glitter card stock for the coat trim.  I created the chimney using the square and then embossed it with a brick pattern, I added a glitter card stock icicle. I used a piece from the Santa hat for the collar on the deer, and deckle scissors for the snowdrift. The Santa sack was just a picture I found and cut out.

Materials:
Memory Box -Woodland Deer, Holiday Hats & Gentleman Leaping
Poppy Stamps - Puffy Cloud Border
Impression Obsession - Icicle
Cheery Lynn Designs - Santa's Laundry
Spellbinders Matting Basics B  5 X 7
Spellbinders Classic Square Large ( 2" x 2″)
Spellbinders - Wood grain embossing folder
Fiskars - Deckle scissors

Week 3 - Paperwhites - Finally a little growth

  7. Wonderful card Diane! Love the sky, it looks so real. The Santa and reindeer look fab, the little sack is a great idea to add.
Great to see your plant is coming along nicely, you must have green fingers. I don't have plants as they all die with me however well I look after them :-(. My mum used to adopt my plants and resurrect them, bless her. Have a great day, Debra x

  19. First of all I'd like to apologize for being MIA last week, but whilst being in the midst of renovating our upper floor we had to go abroad to meet several suppliers (great timing, I know!). And on top of that we came home this morning to find our central heating broke down… Thank goodness it is fixed again now, so we don’t have to wash ourselves with ice cold water anymore ;-) No fun, let me tell you! I am truly very sorry for having missed out on all of your latest creations, but thankful to be able to enjoy them right now! Your beautiful work is always an immense pleasure for me to look at! Thanks for sharing, hugs, Ira xox
