Easter Silhouette

Greetings everyone, thank you for stopping by, and for those that have time to leave a comment I appreciate the encouragement.

I have been busy tearing up the old carpet and linoleum in the two bathrooms getting ready to have them tiled.  You know things never go as planned I found that the bathroom toilet seal has been leaking, who know how long that has been going on.  We will be replacing that anyway, then discovered the new shower enclosure has been leaking and I had to postpone the tile installation until I can get that fixed. You know the saying when it rains it pours.

I thought is would be fun to design a silhouette style today, very easy to do I punched out the grass and attached it at the bottom then die cut the trees.  Flip one tree over to create a mirror image and attach, next add the bunnies the same way and then the basket with the colored eggs.   I added a touch of Sakura 3D lacquer to the eggs for  a bit of shine.

Materials:
Poppy Stamps - Bushel Basket & Fuzzy Bunnies
Impression Obsession - Wide Tree
Martha Stewart - Grass Punch & Basket Egg Punch (just the eggs)
Sakura  3D Lacquer (eggs)
Spellbinder - Matting Basics B 5 X 7

  1. Your bathroom projects sounds exactly like what we ran into several months ago when we tackled ours! Not fun and everything just slows down to a crawl then. You'll get it all fixed up and love the end result though.

Pretty, pretty card! The little bunnies are precious and love those trees too.

  17. Great idea to flip the tree die over and the bunnies too to get the opposite perspective. You have made a lovely scene by doing that. Hugs Mrs A.
