The weather here in the Pacific Northwest has certainly been wonderful, the leaves are turning beautiful colors and some are starting to fall.  The days are sunny with a few rain showers now and again.

I am tickled pink to introduce you to my new friends and followers, thank you for stopping by and joining my blog.

I have been playing around with Alcohol Inks and watching a few tutorials.  I certainly had a fun time seeing what I could do with the inks.

I inked the card stock and used the blending solution over the entire surface of the 4 1/4" X 5 1/2"  glossy paper.  Then die cut the small leaf set twice.   Next I used the VersaMark Watermark Stamp on the wide tree branches and then sprinkled clear embossing powder and used the heat tool to create the shine on the branches.  After I attached the leaves over the branches I dotted the branches with Viva Decor Red to create berries.  To create the frame I just hand cut the orange and white card stock.

Materials:
Tim Holtz® Adirondack® Alcohol Ink Cardstock (4 1/4" X 5 1/2" 20 pack

Ranger Ink Adirondack Alcohol Blending Solution
Viva Decor - Perler Pen Red

Shadowy Evening Treat or Treaters

A warm welcome and thank you for coming by to visit my blog and a big thanks to you if you have the time to leave a comment and/or join as a follower.  Please let me know you stopped by, so I can be sure and return the favor.

I flew down to California over for the weekend and wow it was 99 degrees on Saturday and 104 on Sunday with humidity.  Too hot for me.  When I returned home it was a lovely 66 and raining.

For today's design I was trying to create a evening shadow effect, I really need to watch a video on how to use inks.  That would of made the background a lot more fun on this card.  I used the In The Meadow Die for the rolling hills and embossing the brown card stock then added some Fall colored leaves. I tucked the Weather Fence behind the hills. Next I die cut the trees and flipped the left one over to create a mirror image, added leaves and bats.  I die cut the Trick or Treaters twice and flipped the left ones over and added mounting tape for some dimension.

Well this design certainly has a enormous amount of glittery goodness.  All the trees and snow banks are covered with a thin coating of gorilla glue then dusted with Rock Hard Candy glitter.  I added mounting tape to the back of the trees in front and the bears.  The lower snow bank was die cut using the In The meadow die and the larger one I hand cut using the Deckle scissors.

Materials:
Fiskars Paper Edgers - Deckle scissors
Gorilla Glue
Ranger Ink Hard Rock Candy Glitter
Poppy Stamps - Mama & baby bear
Impression Obsession - Fir Trees & Santa
Spellbinder - Standard Circles Large
Papertry Ink - In the meadow Die
Mounting Tape
