Today's offering started with die cutting all the pieces and then attaching the moon and sled in the center of the card.  Next, I added some hill landscape snow banks, fir trees, cardinals and then the carolers.  Very quick and easy to create.

Our weather has gotten very chilly, low of 32 in the mornings but at least it is dry and sunny. Lots of deer eating my plants and the squirrels are busy eating all the birdseed in the feeder. We have several varieties of Canadian geese is the fields and flocks of white snow geese also.

Materials:
Impression Obsession - Santa's Sled (DIE311-R) , Carolers (DIE221-H), Cardinals (DIE333-H), Fir Trees (DIE084-V) & Hill Landscape Layers (DIE343-T)
Darice - Snowflake Embossing Folder (moon)
Spellbinders - Standard Circle Large (Moon)

Do It Yourself Table Decoration

Today's project started with several Thrift Store finds that I decided to make into flower arrangements.  I added a little Grip N Stick tape to the edges of the glass and then attached the Styrofoam ball.  I used a pair of wire cutters and cut off all but about 1" of the wire from each paper flower stalk.  To add the flowers start at the bottom of the Styrofoam ball and create a row then just continue to fill until the ball is covered.  You Will Need 2 packages of 144 pieces of the artificial roses for each ball.  I thought this would be a fun table decoration for the holidays.

Materials:
144 pc Chic Mini Artificial paper Rose Red Flower (2 packages for each ball)
Styrofoam 4" ball
Fibre Craft - Grip N Stick green stick adhesive (Michael's Craft Store or Amazon)
Several Thrift Store Milk glass Vases

Lighting The Candles

Another quick and easy design, I am trying to use some of the dies that haven't been used for years.  I die cut both parts of the window and attached them together,  then used the Gothic Window die to cut out the holographic gold paper and attached behind the window.  I added a little mounting tape on the back for dimension.

I die cut the candles with white and red card stock and added the red pieces back into the frame.  I had to die cut the holly part twice, once in white and then in green card stock and hand cut the green part and then attached to white.  To complete the design I tried to center it on black card stock and added a couple of rhinestones.

Materials:
Memory Box - Glowing Candles
Poppy Stamps - Small Gothic Arch & Small Gothic Window
Gold Rhinestones
Gold Holographic card stock
Mounting Tape

Poinsettia Border

A warm welcome and thank you for coming by to visit my blog and a big thanks to you if you have the time to leave a comment and/or join as a follower. I want to say I really appreciate all the comments on my last post.  Please let me know you stopped by, so I can be sure and return the favor.

I started by die cutting the largest Spellbinder poinsettia with white card stock and inked it green.  Then die cut the Poppy Stamps Blooming Poinsettia and dotted the center with gold Via Decor pen.  I die cut a silver card stock with the Poinsettia Border.   Cut a 3" x 5" white card stock and embossed it with a fun snowflake pattern and then cut a slightly larger patterned card stock for the back and attached together before gluing to the card.  Add border, poinsettia and words to complete.

I am trying to create some fun but easy designs for the holiday.

Poppy Stamps - Poinsettia Border (silver card stock)
Poppy Stamps - Blooming Poinsettia
Darice - Snowflake Embossing Folder

Very quick and easy to make just die cut each poinsettia set and attach as shown,  then use gold pen on poinsettia edges and then a cost of Wink of Stella for a little shine.  (Too bad the picture does not show the glittery goodness) Die cut the two corners and glue in place.

This is the first time using Wink of Stella, love it but it would be nice if the manufacturer would tell you to unscrew the pen and remove the black plastic circle then rescrew the pieces in place so the liquid glitter starts to flow.

Materials:
Cheery Lynn Designs - Lace Corner Deco F
Poppy Stamps - Small Blooming Poinsettia & Blooming Poinsettia
Doddlebug Design - Gold Glitter Card Stock
Wink Of Stella  - Clear edges)
Krylon Gold Pen (edges)

I die cut the two snowpeople and then die cut a black tux using the Leaping Gentleman die. To create the red jacket die cut twice one in red and one using white glitter card stock and glue slightly overlapping so it creates a fur lining.  Add face pieces, arms and then die cut hats and attach mounting tape behind snowpeople. Die cut blue frame using the Labels Twenty-Three (5" X 4")  then add mounting tape behind frame and finish with adding a glittery snowbank.

While driving home today I saw a double rainbow, you could see each side of the rainbow. So far on Saturday they said 2" of rain in one hour , that is very unusual for us and then Sunday it rained over 1".  Not sure if the El Nino is already effecting us or not.

For those not familiar with Gorilla Glue, myself included I purchased it because it said it dries clear, not even sure it does but it does have a chemical recreation with the Ranger Ink - Distressed Glitter Clear Rock  Candy.  After a minute or so it becomes puffy and dries that way.

Materials:
Spellbinders - Standard Circles Large ( smallest die for birdhouse opening)
Taylored Expression - Cloud Border Die (background)
Poppy Stamps - Sparkling Tree Lights & Love Cottage Roof & Decor (snow roof)
Memory Box - Min Holly Leaves & Branch
Impression Obsession - Love Birds
Gorilla Glue - Puffy Roof)
Ranger Ink - Distressed Glitter Clear Rock  Candy (Puffy Roof)
