Hummingbird Gathering Nectar

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog.

Wow it has been ages since I created an all white card design.  The biggest challenge for me is taking the picture.  At this time of the year we have very little sun so most pictures I take tend to be dark.

Materials:
Cuttlebug - Polka Dots embossing folder (for butterfly)
Die-namics - Lily
Memory Box - Forest Hummingbirds, Willow Dragonfly & Tender Leaves
Poppy stampes - Climbing Vine
Spellbinders - M Bossabilities Imperials embossing folder (background)
Taylored Expressions - Cloud Border Die
Wink of Stella - Clear
Mounting Tape (flowers and hummingbird)

Penguin Greetings

I would like to say thank you to all my followers and everyone that stops by blog.  I really appreciate your comments and continual support.  I am constantly learning so many new techniques from my fellow crafters and enjoy reading your posts.  I hope the New Year is filled with enjoyment and purpose.

This was probably the easier card I have ever designed.  The penguin was cut out from a left over holiday tag which I thought I would try to use.

Materials:
Elizabeth Craft - Season's Greetings
Spellbinders - Inverted Scalloped Circles
Carol Wilson Fine Arts - Tag (no longer in business)
Nuvo Crystal Drops - White

Carolers Light Up Card Design

Hello, and thank you for stopping by.

I thought I would pull out my box of Chibitronics and create a card design where the windows light up. It really is cute when you move the card into a dark area and press the button.  The red, blue and yellow are much darker. The picture below shows how the windows light up.

By the way for some reason I just could not get the copper wire and sticker lights to work, I read the instruction but still nothing worked.  I asked my husband who is a engineer if he wanted to see the instructions and he says no, he sits down at my craft table and on the first try gets it to work.  It just figures. Ha Ha

There are lots of videos and instructions on the Chibitronics website.

This design was a favorite of the week on Split Coast Stamper

Materials:
Art Glitter - Crystal
Dee's Distinctively - Snow Caps
Spellbinders - Matting Basics A
Chibitronics kit - copper wire, battery and  circuit stickers

Card using Chibitronics to light up the windows, lots of fun videos to watch.

Yes these deer are eating bread in my backyard.
