Carolers Light Up Card Design

Hello, and thank you for stopping by.

I thought I would pull out my box of Chibitronics and create a card design where the windows light up. It really is cute when you move the card into a dark area and press the button.  The red, blue and yellow are much darker. The picture below shows how the windows light up.

By the way for some reason I just could not get the copper wire and sticker lights to work, I read the instruction but still nothing worked.  I asked my husband who is a engineer if he wanted to see the instructions and he says no, he sits down at my craft table and on the first try gets it to work.  It just figures. Ha Ha

There are lots of videos and instructions on the Chibitronics website.

This design was a favorite of the week on Split Coast Stamper

Materials:
Art Glitter - Crystal
Dee's Distinctively - Snow Caps
Spellbinders - Matting Basics A
Chibitronics kit - copper wire, battery and  circuit stickers

Card using Chibitronics to light up the windows, lots of fun videos to watch.

Yes these deer are eating bread in my backyard.

The lights were a fab addition....when they worked!! That is exactly what would happen to me!! I would frame this card and bring it out every Christmas. Big hugs, Carol S.xxx

Oh is that ever cool having the windows light up and very cool decorating on the house too, your carolers are perfect too, terrific winter scene! love the pic of the deer in your yard, I know a lot of people say they can sure cause troubles to their plants and such but I still think it would be neat to have them so close to home :)

  16. The chibitronics issue sounds like Murphys Law to me! So glad DH got it to work for you. Men don't read instructions, you know! The scene is lovely even with no lights glowing. Love the way you've created such dimension and arranged the carolers in front of the snowcovered cottage. Very imaginative design & great use of the dies. TFS and for sharing the deer dinner. At least they keep your lawn trimmed! Hard on plants though. TFS & Hugs
