Vacation Trip To Germany, Austria, Italy & Solvenia

Burano, Italy canal Famous for lace making. The water taxi are easy to hop on and off to visit Murano, Burano and Venice.

Beautiful Hallstatt, Austria
It is better to visit first thing in the morning before is gets crowded.

I was so impressed with the history of why they created a bone chapel.

Ino Schaller paper mâché company in Germany.  This is a showroom of their products.
They are not really set up for visitors mostly wholesale customers.  But were nice enjoy to let me shop in their showroom.

Gorgeous Slovenia, wow what a charming country.  This is some of the formations inside the Postojna cave.

Gorgeous beaded necklace for sale in gift shop at Postojna Cave.

I wanted to share some of the fun places we visited while on vacation.

  1. My daughter and I want to go to Italy. Her paternal grandfather was from Italy and she would like to go for a nice visit and to look at family history.

  2. Oh I'm so envious Diane, what a wonderful trip you'er on. Been to all those places except for Austria. I love Murano and Burano, would love to back to Venice... maybe one day, but with this damn brexit, goodness knows what's going to be possible in the future. Slovenia is so beautiful too, though hubby had to really encourage me to o down into the cave, not a favourite of underground. Thanks for sharing you lovely photos, Kate x

  17. Diane, I can't believe you've been to Slovenia!! Most folks don't even know where that is. I spend many-a-fond vacations there when I was younger...It is an incredibly small but geographically diverse country! I wish I had known you were going to the caves - my family owns a shoppe very nearby :) I also have very fond memories of Italy, Germany, and especially Hallstatt! I can't wait to hear more about your fabulous trip!
