Go Fly A Kite

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well.  I believe we are in phase two now with the shelter in place.  Really not sure what they means, except some businesses are starting to open.

Today's design brings me back to my childhood, my sisters and myself spent many summers wheeling each other in a wagon or wheelbarrow around the yard.  Good times.

Materials:
Impression Obsession - Boy with Easter Basket, Snowman Sledding (hat), Girl with Easter Basket & kite.
Poppy Stamps - Large Garden Cart

Recently on our local news there was a story of a women owned Nut Butter (Walnuts, Almonds, Filberts etc) company called (Ground Up Pdx) located in Portland, Oregon.  I liked the idea that they provide employment for women overcoming adversity.  So I ordered the the (4 jar)  4 ounce sampler just to give it a try.  I started with the Cinnamon Snickerdoodle & Coconut Cardamon with chia seeds.   Both are just delicious and they grind the nuts right before they ship out the product. I find myself eating the nut butter right out of the jar.   If anyone is interested in reading about the company the link is below.

I think we are in phase 3, some business can open, mostly curbside pickup still though.
That butter sounds interesting, I love cinnamon in butter :)

  3. There's so much fun in your cards Diane! I love that it's not enough to be just flying a kite for these youngsters, they have to be having wheelbarrow rides at the same time!!! Good for you supporting this nut business which in turn supports women overcoming adversity. Now THAT's how the world should really work.

  4. Hi Diane, beautiful little scene, lovely dies and colours.
Your nut butters sound delicious, and it's a marvellous project to help women.
We will be entering phase 1 on Friday, but it is still very limited, which is good, unlike England who seem to be opening up too fast and too much, keep safe, Kate x
