Off The Edge Design - Running With The Wind

First, sorry about the picture I just can't figure out how to get a really good photo.

Well, on the virus issue seems our numbers are too high so now more restrictions are in place.  Every time I have had a doctors appointment I always think I hope just being in their office I don't get the virus.  I carry a bacterial wipe in a snack bag with extra rubbing alcohol and wipe my hands really well before taking off my mask.  Then wash my hands when I get home.  So far so good.

I hope everyone is doing well and thank you for all the fun comments on my last design.  We are having a heat wave currently and we don't have air conditioning so lots of fans are moving air around right now.

So I decided to try something new, I partially die cut the little girl on the card stock then you just trim the card stock behind the area that is cut the entire length of the card stock edge and it makes her look like she is running off the page.   The key is getting the presser plate on your die cutting machine to only cut off the part you want.  The plate needs to be in the front when cutting the paper.

Materials:
Impression Obsession -  Girl With Easter Basket & Kite
Martha Stewart - Grass punch
Poppy Stamps - Patient Pup
Rhinestone & stars

  2. This is so much fun Diane! Love the partial die cutting (I applaud you for doing this - I cannot get the hang of it!!) and that gorgeous black lab!
So sorry to hear that numbers are going back up for you. There has been so much confusion over testing and reporting numbers that I just don't know what to believe any more. Best to use our common sense and stay safe! Vicky x

  16. Hi Diane, it's a super design and I love the dies that have created the little scene.
Yep, the virus is just not going away, but the governments have all opened far too soon, thankfully Scotland is doing not too badly, but our First Minister is still being cautious, unlike the Westminster government, Keep safe, Kate x

  20. Hi Diane. I love the piece of art you have created. It is so clever. I'm with you about taking precautions when going to the doc. You would hope that those places are the safest, but you never can be too sure and the numbers are steadily climbing..Stay well..xxoJudy

  23. A cute card and love the kites. A brilliant design as always Diane.
I had to go to the hospital today to get a CT scan done that had been put off since April. I was very concerned about going through the hospital, so I found a door at the back of the building that was right by the Scan department. Very scary!! Stay safe, Big hugs, Carol S.xxxx

  25. Such a fun card! Glad you're still virus free in spite of increasing numbers. We just reminded ourselves again that we can't get complacent. Cases continue to increase here, but still very low numbers.
