Lovely In Orange

Just another quick design, not sure why recently I keep using orange paper.  I guess it is because our weather is already starting to feel like Fall. The sun is not as bright and it is really cold in the mornings.

I would like to thank my new followers who recently joined and all that stop by and take the time to leave comments.  I look forward to reading each one and stopping by your blogs to see what creative projects you have done.

We have a motion sensor light out back and a lot of times it goes off and I never see what triggered it. We had a female black bear one night come up to the greens containers and sniff them, but thankfully there was no food scraps in the containers. She showed up two nights in the row, she must have cubs because you could tell she is nursing.  Then the American Robin below looks like he is taking a selfie and the Steller's Jay was right in front of the camera.

Magic Carriage Ride

Just a fun easy design.  I used the Magical Cauldron die to create the little swirls behind the carriage.  If you put the die cutting plate partially over the back end of the die it will imprint on the paper but not cut out the cauldron.  I don't think I have ever used the Pumpkin Carriage die.

Sending You Smiles

Greetings, hope everyone is well.

I have been trying to use inks, I really don't have a talent for it but I did lightly sponge the flower and stalks.

Off The Edge Design - Butterflies

Greetings, I just can't believe how fast summer is whizzing along.  Here in the Pacific Northwest we have such short summers and it starts raining by September.

Wow, thanks to my new followers, I am just honored to be added to your viewing.  For everyone that stops by thank you for your time and comments.

So I started off partially die cutting the butterflies, then wasn't really sure where I was going with the design.  So I decided to attach some shiny purple paper behind the back of the butterflies and add flower stalk.  The off the edge design works a lot better if you have a matching stamp to complete the entire image.  Since I don't use stamps I just add a completed die cut onto the partial cut out.
